A: The Uniform Stop does not provide garment alterations, but check with your local store for recommendations.

Q: Can I get my name and company logo monogrammed onto my scrubs?

A: The Uniform Stop outsources all monogramming, check with your local store for information and pricing.

Q: How can I order & purchase scrubs without coming into the store?

A: The Uniform Stop will glady take over the phone orders and ship scrubs for a flat rate. Please have the brand, style, size, and color on hand when ordering.
Please call your local store for more information.

Q: How can I keep my scrubs from fading?

A: The Uniform Stop recommends soaking scrubs in 1 cup of white vinegar (per garment) and cold water for 1 hour before washing scrubs for the first time.
Washing scrubs inside out also helps prevent fading. Pick up a vinegar receipe at you local store.

Our Story

The Uniform Stop began in 1998 in the university town of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Started by two regular people, Mike and Nicky Upshaw, who were tired of working at a company that sold both medical uniforms and medical equipment; a combo they both knew didn't mix very well. The Upshaws wanted to create a place for doctors, nurses, students and everyone who needed scrubs to have a place to shop unique and fairly priced uniforms. After much brainstorming and calculating, they took the plunge. Nicky worked the store front, while Mike stayed at the old company so they would have enough money to invest in inventory and supplies.

Not all of their family was on board with the idea, it just seemed too risky to start a business; but Mike and Nicky knew that professionals needed quailty uniforms and wanted great customer service to accompany. With the encouragement of our loyal customers, many of whom still shop with us today, they began to grow.

Year after year we continue to grow and since the inception of the Stillwater store, they now have a store in Enid run by their son, Jeremy.
